Hi there!

I am so excited about this new site. There have been some major changes happening in my life, insert my sweet baby girl, which meant that things with my business would be changing.

DSC_0844

I had no idea they would change as much as they did.

At first, I was scared. Scared that all the work I had done before she got here, wouldn’t matter anymore because I just didn’t have the same amount of time as I did before. I was worried that being a stay at home mom would completely take over this business.

And to be honest, at times it did.

But I’m also so thankful it did because I’ve been able to completely re-evaluate my business and where I want it to go.

I’m so excited to announce that I’m moving more towards portrait sessions now, and taking a very limited amount of weddings.

I love weddings. The whole day is just magical and being the one a bride chooses to shoot that day, is the biggest honor.
But right now, my heart beats for those portrait sessions. Anniversaries, maternity, newborn, family. You name it, I love it. I love getting to see a family jive together, or see the way a husband looks at his soon to be mama wife. And don’t even get me started on newborn sessions! 🙂

I can not thank all my clients enough for all their support, and to my future clients, I can’t wait to meet you!

For a limited time I will be offering $75 off all portrait sessions! It would be an honor to capture you, so contact me today for more information!

Thanks for stopping by, and come back often!

I don’t even know where to start with this wedding.
Every single part of it was completely perfect.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Heather since high school so when she called and asked me to photographer her wedding I was giddy with excitement. Everything she described about her wedding sounded like a dream…and it totally was.

Their ceremony was at the beautiful Immaculate Catholic Church in Jacksonville. I’ve never been a part of a ceremony so beautiful. The church it’s self is absolutely breathtaking!
They had their reception at the Deerwood Country Club close by, which was also a dream to shoot at. The golf course is the perfect back ground for a reception, and made for the most beautiful photos.

The whole day went off with out a hitch, and I have to be honest and say that Heather was one of the most laid back brides I’ve ever had. She worked her butt off for that wedding, and got to relax the whole day off which is exactly what you want!

Every one in attendence couldn’t have been more happy that Heather and Grants wedding day had finally arrived. Heathers mom is honestly one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met (and even bought Emmy an outfit!) and made me feel like I was part of their family. And Grants mom’s speech at the rehearsal. Hands down, the best I’ve ever heard. Brought me to tears, because she was talking about the day she brought Grant home from the hosptial and then now on his wedding day. Ah! All the mommy feels.

It was an honor to be a part of Heather and Grants wedding day.

Happy New Year, friends!

I am so excited about all that’s in store for 2016! And what a better way to kick off the year than with an adorable engagement session!

Taylor and Evan are so sweet. We met while they were in town, from North Carolina to shoot their engagement photos at the Cypress Grove Estate house. It was the perfect back drop for the two of them.

They were the biggest troopers with me, as I was getting over the worst cold I’ve ever had in my life. We walked around the grounds in awe of the beauty that surrounded us. Taylor and Evan just added to it!

Enjoy these pictures!

Please meet the sweetest baby girl.

Yes she happens to be mine, and I’m already head over heels for her.
Being a mommy has been the greatest gift God has ever given me, and every day I thank Him for letting me be this sweet girls mommy.

Emily Mae was born August 22, 2015. Weighing in at 7 pounds and 5 ounces, and 21 inches long! Which I could feel all 21 inches while she was in the womb.

These pictures were taken when she was twelve days old! A bit later than I recommend to my own clients, but let’s be honest here. Taking your own newborn photos are so much harder than taking them for other people.

I can’t tell you how much we love her because you can’t put it into words.
These sleepless days and nights are ones I wouldn’t trade for the world. Having a newborn is all the experiences wrapped up into long nights, countless snuggles, and moments you have to soak in.

We are so lucky to have this beautiful girl! DSC_6799DSC_6806DSC_6813DSC_6815DSC_6819DSC_6820DSC_6823DSC_6828DSC_6838DSC_6853DSC_6864DSC_6868DSC_6875DSC_6877DSC_6886DSC_6920DSC_6921DSC_6922DSC_6923DSC_6926DSC_6928DSC_6929DSC_6930DSC_6934DSC_6935DSC_6937DSC_6939DSC_6943DSC_6944DSC_6957DSC_6971

I know I’ve said this a thousand times, but my niece is just the cutest. And how she’s five years old already, I have no idea.

Every year I have the pleasure of taking some birthday pictures of her, and hello, who wouldn’t want to? This year I noticed a bit more sass during our shoot. She was pretty much directing it the whole time. “How about this Aunt Meggy?” “How about I put my hand here.” So all the cutest shots were totally all her.

These were taken at Downtown Winter Park. A spot I have grown to love more than any other place around me. The beautiful roses are in bloom and it’s such a wonderful place to get pictures done.

Happy 5th Birthday to the cutest and funniest kid I know!

If I could describe Mandy and Josh in two words it would be the cutest. Honestly. I’ve never been around another couple that just radiates the kind of love they share.
When Mandy contacted me about her wedding at Up The Creek Farms I instantly knew it was going to be wonderful. Having done a styled shoot there before, and just having been there for my little sisters wedding, Up The Creek Farms never disappoints.

The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone any smoother than I planned, and being 6 months pregnant, I was a bit worried. Every vendor involved in the day made Many and Josh’s visions come to life in the most beautiful way.

The ceremony was by far my favorite. Jesus was at the center of it all, which just makes my heart so happy. And this first kiss. Seriously the sweetest ever. Just wait.

Enjoy this super sweet wedding.

This shoot was hard for me. I had found out we were expecting our little one a couple weeks before and the morning sickness was something else. I didn’t feel well at all, but had been planning this shoot for a while and couldn’t back out. Thank you Lord, for not letting me.

The only reason this shoot came out so wonderful is because of the amazing vendors I got to work with. Especially Akili from sassy a la mode. This is my second styled shoot with her and she’s a dream to work with. Every thing we planned, or had envisioned came together so beautifully and I can’t thank her enough!
Each of the vendors involved made my job so easy and I’m so thankful for that. I can’t recommend these ladies to you enough!

And a huge thank you to my sweet friend Alyssa and her boo Christian for being my amazing models!

This shoot was also featured on The Luxe Pearl, a dream of a wedding blog! I am so thankful for the chance to be featured on such a beautiful blog! Be sure to head there next!
